From the first tea trees

The land of Bao Loc (B’Lao as the K’Ho people call it) is located at an altitude of more than 800m above sea level, with a cool climate all year round and fertile basalt red soil. This is the ideal environment for tea plants to grow and create unique flavors, making tea from Kim Dien Tea Department special. Therefore, it has contributed to making Bao Loc become the tea capital of Lam Dong.
In the late 80s of the twentieth century, Taiwanese merchants brought the first Olong tea trees to B’Lao land. Realizing the potential of Olong tea, plus the state’s support policy, the family invested in producing and processing Olong tea in Loc Quang, Bao Lam, Lam Dong. To 50 years of development of 3 generations of Kim Dien Tea

Technical transfer from Taiwanese experts combined with research, from there, we have drawn out the secrets that create the uniqueness of Kim Dien Tea.
Kim Dien Tea has created a lake near the tea hill to have a natural water source for tea irrigation. The grass is processed by hand pulling, without using drugs to ensure the best quality of tea when harvested. Tea is grown and cared for periodically over a period of more than 1 and a half years, harvested every 50 days using the manual hand picking method. Oolong tea is only picked when the sun is high, the tea buds are dry, and there is no morning dew. This will help prevent the tea leaves from being crushed during harvesting and transportation. To ensure stable tea quality and best flavor, after picking tea, it will be moved to the factory and processed within 1 hour.

The factory meets standards with a capacity of 400 tons/year

To maintain a closed process in growing and producing tea, Kim Dien has a system of production and processing factories right on the tea hill.
Kim Dien factory is equipped with modern machinery, imported from Taiwan and operated according to ISO 9001 standards.
Kim Dien Tea still applies processing methods that have been drawn up and passed down through generations to retain the inherent flavor of the tea, unaffected by modern machinery and technology.
