  • General Introduction to Kim Điền

It all started in 1974, when Kim Điền Tea Factory officially became part of the Lại family in the land of B’Lao. Over three generations of tea making and more than 50 years of continuous development, Kim Điền Tea Company Limited has inherited and developed the family tradition, along with a tea plantation in Lộc Quảng Commune.

Today, this place has become a natural museum of tea, with over 50 hectares specializing in premium Oolong tea cultivated by Kim Điền Tea Company Limited, and an extensive raw material area of more than 2,650 hectares in the Bảo Lộc region of Lâm Đồng.

Vision and Mission

Production Capacity

  • Kim Điền owns 50 hectares of cultivated land in the Bảo Lộc region, at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level, which is highly suitable for tea cultivation.
  • We also collaborate with local households, expanding the cultivation area to 1,000 hectares, ensuring a production capacity of up to 700 tons per year.
  • Our production process complies with ISO 22000:2018 and food safety standards, combined with high-tech machinery for packaging.
  • We provide tea processing and packaging services according to customer requirements.
  • A diverse product ecosystem: We always maintain and develop traditional tea lines while also researching and producing new products such as raw milk tea, fruit tea, tea bags, herbal tea, and more.

Mrs. LẠI THỊ QUỲNH DAO – Director, Founder of Kim Điền Tea Company Limited:
“I am proud to have been born and raised in the tea-growing land of B’Lao, Lâm Đồng. I was nurtured and grew up in a family with more than 50 years of tea-making tradition, and tea has become an indispensable part of my life.

I had the opportunity to live and study abroad for a period of time, and I always had the desire to introduce Vietnamese tea to the world. Therefore, the company’s goal at that time was to focus on exporting tea to major tea markets such as Russia, Taiwan, Japan, China, and others.

However, after returning to Vietnam and reflecting on the domestic tea market with its many fluctuations, including counterfeits and foreign imports, consumers often do not understand the production process or the development of the Vietnamese tea industry. As a tea maker, I have been concerned about how to preserve the tea-making tradition in this land of B’Lao, not only by producing authentic tea flavors but also by offering trendy flavors to meet the diverse preferences of customers.

With these aspirations, Kim Điền Tea Company Limited was founded. I believe that Kim Điền will contribute to promoting the growth of B’Lao tea in particular and the Vietnamese tea industry in general, bringing it to more domestic consumers. At the same time, it will enhance the value of Vietnamese agricultural products on the global market!”
