RIGOROUS PROCESSING PROCEDURE

Unlike other teas, B’Lao Oolong Tea undergoes a complex production process meticulously controlled from cultivation and harvesting to each processing step. Each batch of fresh tea requires up to 48 hours of continuous effort by skilled artisans. The steps include withering, tumbling, oxidation, pan-firing, pressing, preliminary drying, shaping, and final drying.

BREWING INSTRUCTIONS

Consists of tightly rolled tea leaves and buds. To release its full flavor and aroma, high-temperature water (approximately 95°C) is required.

Basic Steps for Brewing:

Step 1: Warm the Teapot and Cups: Pour boiling water into the teapot and cups to warm them, then discard the water.

Step 1:Awaken the Tea: Add 8-10g of B’Lao Oolong Tea (or more, depending on your taste) into the teapot. Pour boiling water over the tea just to cover it, then immediately discard this first rinse.

Step 1:Brew the Tea: Add 200ml of boiling water to the teapot. Steep for 40 seconds for the first brew and 60 seconds for subsequent brews. Pour all the tea into a decanter or directly into cups. Once all the tea is poured out, slightly open the teapot lid to prevent the tea leaves from steaming. Repeat the process for up to 3-4 brews, depending on the tea quality.
