BREWING INSTRUCTIONS
Alishan Oolong Tea consists of tightly rolled tea leaves, so hot water (around 95°C) is essential to fully unlock its flavor and aroma.
- Preheat Teaware: Pour boiling water into the teapot and cups to warm them.
- Awaken the Tea: Add 8–10g of Alishan Oolong Tea (adjust to taste) to the teapot. Pour hot water just enough to cover the leaves, then discard this first infusion.
- Brew the Tea: Add 200ml of hot water to the teapot and steep for 40 seconds for the first infusion. For subsequent infusions, increase the steeping time to 60 seconds. Pour the brewed tea into cups and leave the teapot lid slightly open to prevent over-brewing. The leaves can be steeped 3–4 times.
