Osmanthus Oolong Tea F668
Osmanthus Oolong Tea is a premium tea grown and processed in the B’Lao region (Bao Loc and Bao Lam), situated at an altitude of over 1,000 meters above sea level. This region offers ideal conditions for the development of High-Mountain Oolong tea. Recognized and cherished in the Taiwanese market, this product is celebrated for its exceptional quality.
EXQUISITE PROCESSING PROCEDURE
Osmanthus Flower Harvesting: Osmanthus flowers (Osmanthus fragrans) are hand-picked at dawn when the buds are just beginning to bloom—this is the time when the flowers exude their most delicate fragrance.
Tea Scenting Process: The osmanthus flowers are layered with tea leaves following a meticulous technique: a thin layer of flowers, followed by a thin layer of tea, repeated until all tea or flowers are used. Kim Điền’s premium Oolong tea is used in this scenting process. During the 16-hour scenting phase, the tea is turned every three hours to allow moisture evaporation and prevent discoloration or spoilage. After scenting, the tea is dried to eliminate any remaining moisture, ensuring the finest quality.
FLAVOR CHARACTERISTICS

BREWING INSTRUCTIONS
Osmanthus Oolong Tea consists of round, tightly rolled tea leaves formed by the buds and leaves curling together. For optimal flavor and aroma, use hot water at approximately 95°C during brewing.
Basic Steps:
- Step 1: Warm the Teapot and Cups: Pour hot water into the teapot and cups, swirl to warm them, and discard the water.
- Step 2: Awaken the Tea: Add 8-10g of Osmanthus Oolong tea (or adjust to taste) into the teapot. Pour enough hot water to cover the tea leaves and discard this first infusion.
- Step 3: Brew the Tea: Add 200ml of hot water to the teapot and steep for 40 seconds for the first infusion, then 60 seconds for subsequent infusions. Pour all the tea into a serving pitcher or cups. After brewing, slightly open the teapot lid to avoid over-steeping. The tea can be steeped 3-4 times depending on the quality.
- Step 4: Enjoy: Your Osmanthus Oolong Tea is now ready to be enjoyed.
Note: There’s no “best” tea—only the tea that best suits your taste. The above instructions are for reference; feel free to adjust the brewing process to your preference.
