HIGH-GRADE TU QUY OOLONG TEA: ESSENCE FROM HIGH MOUNTAIN PEAKS
High-Grade Tu Quy Oolong Tea (also known as Spring Tu Quy Premium Oolong) is a special tea sourced from Taiwan, renowned for its meticulous selection process using only the finest Tu Quy tea buds. This tea undergoes precise processing and stringent screening to remove substandard particles (broken leaves, crumbs, flakes) and foreign matter, retaining only evenly shaped, aromatic tea leaves with superior quality.
REFINED PROCESSING METHOD
Like other Oolong teas, High-Grade Tu Quy Oolong Tea undergoes a complex processing cycle lasting up to 48 hours, requiring continuous work from artisans. From fresh leaf picking, withering, tumbling, fermenting, pan-frying, shaping, to drying, every step is performed with care and precision.
What sets this tea apart is its rigorous refinement. After sieving, the tea is traditionally dried to enhance its signature fragrance while preserving its premium quality.
FLAVOR PROFILE
Derived from the Tu Quy tea variety, this tea can be harvested year-round (four seasons), unlike other high-mountain teas that are picked only in spring and late autumn. Its signature appearance features round, tightly rolled leaves and a characteristic greenish-gold liquor. It offers a gentle floral aroma reminiscent of spring and a flavor profile of light initial bitterness followed by a lingering sweet aftertaste.
- Aroma: Exudes a delicate, distinctive scent of gardenia, providing a soothing, stress-relieving experience akin to a refreshing spring breeze.
- Taste: The tea presents a natural sweetness akin to cane syrup, paired with a mild lingering bitterness. This harmonious combination delivers a profound and sophisticated sensory journey.
TEA LIQUOR
- First Brew: Produces a shimmering greenish-golden hue, evoking freshness and vitality.
- Subsequent Brews: The liquor deepens in color, revealing more complex and robust flavors.

Basic Brewing Steps:
- Warm the Teapot and Cups: Pour boiling water into the teapot and cups, then discard the water to pre-warm them.
- Awaken the Tea: Add 8–10g of Tu Quy Oolong Tea (adjust based on preference) into the teapot. Pour just enough boiling water to cover the leaves, then quickly discard this rinse.
- Steep the Tea: Add about 200ml of boiling water to the teapot. Steep for 40 seconds for the first brew, and 60 seconds for subsequent brews. Pour all the tea into a sharing pitcher or cups. Ensure no liquid remains in the teapot to avoid over-steeping. Refill the pot with hot water for up to 3–4 brews, depending on the tea quality.
